This is my one year review. December 2021, I came to Dr. Yeung because I was ready to take the next steps in resolving my problems of breathing. I “googled” nasal polyp surgery and this is how I found the Yeung Institute.
The reviews made me skeptical but I was not going to judge until I knew for myself.
I was already aware that I had nasal polyps.
The first initial visit everyone was very welcoming.
I had a CT done and from there Dr. Yeung showed me that I had more complications than I thought! Nasal polyps, deviated septum, Bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy, & chronic sinusitis. From there I met with my PCP and got cleared for surgery.
The team with dr Yeung gave me a full breakdown of everything physically and financially.
Fast forward to the surgery, I came the morning of the surgery.
    Everything was explained again.
After the surgery my nose was bleeding(normal after procedure). After the surgery the recovery can be challenging but they were there with me the entire time, or I could call within business hours at any time for question.
I had follow ups weekly, then monthly, then 3 months.
This was the best decision of my life. I sleep so much better, I breathe better of course.
The service and customer service from my prospective was perfect.
I did not have any surprise medical bills. Dr. Yeung is a man of laughter please don’t take it as being rude.
He jokes around but he is an amazing man and an amazing doctor. I’m thankful!

Excellent patient care. I had septoplasty surgery and nasal polyps removed with Dr. Yeung. At my first visit Dr. Yeung reviewed my scan with me and explained exactly what he was seeing and the benefits of having the surgery.
He also was honest and told me it was not a medical need but would improve my breathing and health significantly. The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to all my questions. They provide an easy-to-follow care plan for pre-op, day of surgery and post-op so there are no surprises. After a couple of days after surgery the nose plugs where pulled out and immediately, I could finally breathe, the difference was noticeable from pre-surgery to post. If you have any sinus needs I 100% recommend Dr. Yeung and his staff. You will be in good hands and will have the best sinus Dr. in the business taking care of you. Even the follow up visits are minimal wait times, and the patient care does not change they continue to look out for your wellbeing.

A big Thank you to, Dr. Yeung and staff.

My life was made richer after having full sinus and UPPP surgery - under the exceedingly competent and meticulous care of Dr. Cecil Yeung.

From my initial consultation, I received abundantly capable and compassionate care. Every medical professional on Dr. Yeung’s team listened with heartfelt empathy, coached with deep sensible perspective and set my clinical outcome scenarios wisely.

Remarkable to me were the exacting and thorough post-surgical follow-up exams and the wide-ranging medical subject-matter expertise of Dr. Yeung. My gratitude is profound indeed for each professional on the Yeung Institute team for their proactive and timely services.

I want to share my husband's experience.
He had sinusitis for over four years, constantly using Afrin, which resulted in a blocked nose, frequent sneezing, and a runny nose.
He was always shaking his nose, which was uncomfortable and annoying, and it got to the point where it bled.
From the beginning, he sought help.
He underwent allergy treatment, but nothing worked.
He had many injections, thinking they might help, but nothing did. We went to an ENT specialist and were truly disappointed because he only said that his problem was an addiction to Afrin.
He couldn't stand having his nose blocked all the time.
He snored a lot because he couldn't breathe properly.
We live in Louisiana, and seeing that we couldn't find a solution, I started researching on Google and found Dr. Cecil Yeung's website.
I read many comments and experiences similar to my husband's, and we decided to make an appointment. At the first appointment, we received a diagnosis and a solution to the problem.
Because his condition was advanced, he needed surgery.
We scheduled it for six months later, and it was truly the best decision because the problem completely disappeared.
My husband has a One month after the surgery, and thanks to God and the doctor's excellent work... My husband no longer has a blocked nose or runny nose and is breathing very well...

For a long time, my daughter struggled to stay asleep at night. She would wake up in the middle of the night and come to my bedside.
I always thought she was just afraid of the dark and wanted to sleep near her parents. When she was around eight years old, I noticed she was snoring, and it was loud.
She would also take long naps after school.
It never occurred to me that she might have sleep apnea until a couple of years ago when a coworker of my wife’s underwent sinus surgery for similar symptoms.
That prompted my wife to start researching doctors who perform this kind of surgery. After extensive research, we decided to go with Dr. Yeung.

From our first visit with Dr. Yeung and his team, we felt reassured. After a CT scan in there clinic, they helped us understand the her issues and explained how surgery could potentially improve her sleep as a 14 years old.
Dr. Yeung suspected that sinus blockages, worsened when she lay down, were causing her difficulties.
He recommended a sleep study before making any decisions, and the results confirmed a diagnosis of mild obstructive sleep apnea.

We returned to Dr. Yeung to discuss her diagnosis. He explained the surgery details and what to expect during recovery. After weighing our options, my wife and I decided to proceed with the surgery.
The procedure was done in the same building as his clinic and took about four hours.
Following the surgery, Chelsa Vazquez, Dr. Yeung’s head nurse, maintained close contact with us, answering all our questions and easing our concerns we had.

A week after the surgery, my daughter could sleep through the night without waking up. The difference was night and day. It has been 4 months since her surgery, she’s now fully awake and energetic in the mornings, and I haven’t heard any snoring from her room since.

I would like to officially thank and acknowledge Dr. Yeung and his team for all their help in improving my daughter’s health. Their care and expertise have made a big difference, and we are very grateful.

Before I had sinus surgery, I always got the worst sinus infections, and I could only breathe through one nostril.
I had a 3 cm hole in my Septum. He was able to close the hole.
Now I can breathe so good.
I sleep better at night. Dr. Yeung and his staff are wonderful. Very good place to go if you have any sinus issues.

I’m honestly not even sure where to begin. Dr. Yeung and his team (Nurse Chelsea, Dawn, Lilian) are absolutely the best. In January of this year, I found out I unfortunately had a septal perforation that was on the larger side. I seen several ENT’s and plastic surgeons, and was told there was nothing that could be done, or I would have to get the dreaded septal button. I was never even properly diagnosed. Fast forward to June, I find Dr. Yeung and make an appointment. Everyone was very welcoming, and Dr. Yeung assured me this was something he could take on.
I also had rhinoplasty, septoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery.
My surgery was promptly scheduled just 5 weeks after my consultation, which was absolutely amazing in my opinion that I was able to be gotten in that fast.
Dawn was fantastic with helping with insurance and explaining all paperwork.
Nurse Chelsea was always available to answer any questions. Surgery day came and everything went well.
As of writing this, I am 8 weeks post surgery and my approximately 3cm perforation is CLOSED and healing very well.
