Dr. Yeung entered the field of sinus and skull base surgery at its very inception in the United States, working alongside the pioneers who established the discipline. He began his career before the American Rhinology Society fellowship program was even founded-training in an era where innovation wasn't a course, it was a daily necessity.

Dr. Yeung's sinus surgery re-do rate is an almost nonexistent 0-1%; the immense difference between this number and the national average of 25-30% demonstrates Dr. Yeung's unyielding devotion to perfection and lasting results. His extensive knowledge of structural anatomy contributes greatly to his surgical accuracy.

Septal perforation is an extremely challenging repair because of the intricate anatomical blood supply to the local tissue.  With Dr. Yeung's knowledge of this surgery the success rate of the repair regardless of size of the perforation is almost 100%.  

Dr. Yeung has applied his expertise in advanced sinus surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery cases, and his work has been published in numerous International and National Medical Journals. Dr. Yeung stands apart as a pioneer in the field of Sinus Surgery. Dr. Yeung was the first surgeon in Houston, Texas to introduce and perform Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Dr. Yeung's surgical technique not only reduces scarring, post-operative pain, and patient downtime, but also produces the most complete and long-lasting treatment of sinus issues.

Although Dr. Yeung is affiliated with numerous Medical Center hospitals in the Houston area, he almost exclusively performs procedures at his private, state-of-the-art AAAHC surgery center at Houston Sinus Surgery. Dr. Yeung is board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery with expertise in rhinoplasty. Prior to private practice, Dr. Yeung was a professor at The University of Texas Medical School. Dr. Yeung received his medical education, training, and fellowship at Washington University, University of California San Diego, and the University of Toronto.
