I would always have a nostril blocked when I would go to sleep and I couldn't really breathe through my nose when doing any cardio. I also was snoring while sleeping due to having a blocked nostril.

After getting a CT scan at this office, they mentioned I had a deviated septum for what they assumed my entire life. I decided to book a day for the surgery at that moment which I did not have to wait long. I was recommended a list of items to help with the post operation, it was very helpful. The nurse was always available for any questions I had and provided a nice atmopsphere.

After the surgery and some time to heal, it is a world of difference between how I was breathing through my nose. I do not snore while sleeping, nostrils are no longer blocked while sleeping, and it has tremendously benefited my cardio sessions like running and boxing.

I have suffered from chronic sinusitis most of my adult life from having a deviated septum and bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy.
After having endoscopic sinus surgery performed by Dr. Cecil Yeung and his team (12/2024), I can finally breathe through my nose, and have not experienced another sinus infection.
Dr. Yeung is very meticulous and is truly a perfectionist when it comes to nasal surgery. During each post surgery visit, he would survey my nasal passages with a camera to ensure proper healing.
In addition, his nurse Chelsea was excellent and always accessible anytime to answer questions, pre and post surgery.
She provided clear instructions and information to ensure proper post operative care, which was critical during the healing process.

The sinus surgery I received from Dr. Yeung has significantly improved the quality of my life. I have been suffering from Chronic Bronchitis (unknown cause) for 3 years with a host of symptoms that included periodic coughing attacks, nose and chest congestion, dry mouth and burning nose (in the mornings), Headaches (tension headaches included), sore throats, foggy mind, fatigued, etc. After the first year of suffering, a General Practitioner diagnosed me with Chronic Bronchitis (unknown cause). A Gastroenterologist (G.P. doctor referred) diagnosed me with GERD, and a Pulmonologist (G.P. Doctor referred) diagnosed me with Asthmatic Bronchitis (unknown cause).
I have been prescribed protein pump inhibitors, oral steroids, cough suppressants, nebulizer treatments with albuterol, and various inhalers, all of which either caused more issues or served as a bandaid to some of the symptoms. I gave up! I was tired of the run-around. Two years later, I was still suffering. I had just gotten used to the misery. One day, a thought popped into my mind to have my sinuses checked out. I had never experienced sinus issues, so seeing an otolaryngologist was an afterthought. I researched online, found, and decided to see Dr. Yeung. That same day, a CAT scan was done, and the problem was uncovered. Every existing sinus cavity in my skull was clogged by inflamed tissue.
Dr. Yeung informed me that it was one of the worst cases he had seen. Dr. Yeung competently explained the CAT scans and why I had experienced the symptoms I had suffered. I immediately scheduled the surgery. After about a week of my surgery, I was breathing like a newborn baby. The relief and freedom from symptoms were overwhelming. It has now been six months, and I have no symptoms; I am sleeping well, and my thinking is no longer fogged and impaired.
Dr. Yeung is a highly competent, conscientious, thorough, no-nonsense, straightforward surgeon.
He is very professional without the facade of niceties and bedside manners that often hide incompetence.
He will tell you exactly what the problem is, and he knows precisely what he is doing.

After struggling to breathe properly all my life with one nostril always blocked, I’m finally enjoying a better quality of life - all thanks to Dr. Yeung and his incredible staff. Nurse Chelsea was like the caring best friend I never had; she explained everything clearly and helped ease my anxiety about the surgery. Dawn was always polite and promptly answered my calls and emails.
I really appreciated that all billing was explained and paid upfront - with just one minor surprise bill from anesthesia, which is far better than what I’ve seen elsewhere.

Dr Cecil Yeung is well versed in his expertise in dealing with sinuses. He is straight forward in his communication style which is helpful in understanding what is really going on. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

This is my one year review. December 2021, I came to Dr. Yeung because I was ready to take the next steps in resolving my problems of breathing. I “googled” nasal polyp surgery and this is how I found the Yeung Institute.
The reviews made me skeptical but I was not going to judge until I knew for myself.
I was already aware that I had nasal polyps.
The first initial visit everyone was very welcoming.
I had a CT done and from there Dr. Yeung showed me that I had more complications than I thought! Nasal polyps, deviated septum, Bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy, & chronic sinusitis. From there I met with my PCP and got cleared for surgery.
The team with dr Yeung gave me a full breakdown of everything physically and financially.
Fast forward to the surgery, I came the morning of the surgery.
Everything was explained again.
After the surgery my nose was bleeding(normal after procedure). After the surgery the recovery can be challenging but they were there with me the entire time, or I could call within business hours at any time for question.
I had follow ups weekly, then monthly, then 3 months.
This was the best decision of my life. I sleep so much better, I breathe better of course.
The service and customer service from my prospective was perfect.
I did not have any surprise medical bills. Dr. Yeung is a man of laughter please don’t take it as being rude.
He jokes around but he is an amazing man and an amazing doctor. I’m thankful!

Dr. Yeung is the best doctor!! I leave the comforts of my hometown in Alvin to a beautiful area in downtown Houston just to see him and his wonderful staff. His precise sinus surgery corrected my chronic sinus illness. I went to him to correct a prior sinus surgery. I contend with horses, stalls, hay, dogs, cats, weather and other allergens on a daily basis. I was considering giving up the hobbies that I love because of my sinus issues. Dr. Yeung’s sinus surgery made it possible for me to continue to do the things I love. He looked at my personal case and performed his skills with his hands, which are tools given from the almighty up above. How amazing is that? I can only IMAGINE his cosmetic skills. I wish I could do a billboard for him to show how much it is appreciated. His office staff is the best. They are simply beautiful, down to earth people. Excellent facility; I loved that I could get into my car within a few steps of the building after the procedure. It was very private and convenient, much better than a large facility. Everyone was very professional but kind at the same time. They explained every step of my procedure and that was very comforting.

This was my first surgery with Dr. Yeung, third sinus surgery total. I am totally pleased with every aspect of the experience. You are on my A list!
